Media2Go: exchanging information between appliances

Rich Gossweiler, Dejan Milojicic, Himanshu Raj
Media2Go allows you to implicitly or explicitly download content from external sources such as digital signs onto your cell phone. The user can receive a menu of content listings immediately, and then explicitly download more and more content, depending on how long they want to wait. For example, the lowest level might be a url and some text, followed by the next level, thumbnails and finally a full video. To experiment with automatic downloading (a sort of sensory capture of where you went and when), you can also pick up things as you walk by (complete with a time-stamp and theoretical GPS location). If you stand near something longer, you can get more information.
